Soul singer Brenda Vaughn continues to receive kudos for her work in the music industry. In 2007 Brenda Vaughn received the Living Legend Award at “The Bay Area Black Music Awards” and received her own day, December 12, which is declared Brenda Vaughn Day in Oakland, CA. In 2010 she received a second proclamation award by the city of Oakland. Brenda found work in Japan as a back-up singer, solo artist and as the featured voice in many Japanese commercials as well being the voice of numerous video games. Brenda received one triple platinum and two platinum awards for her coordinating work with Japan’s Ki/oon /Sony Music recording group Gospellers. The success of that music project has positioned Brenda for her coordinating skills once again coordinating for the 2018 release of Sony recording artist Gospellers with Grammy award winner Bryan Cox and JQ Smith. She toured and/recorded with major Japanese recording artist Shun Kiyokiba, Exile, Hirari Ken, Koda Kumi, FayRay  and so many more! In addition to singing, Brenda produced/co-produced/coordinated special events with many major artists both local and international. While working as the Entertainment Coordinator for one of the largest venues in Oakland Bay Area Geoffrey’s' Inner Circle.
